Nutrition Overview

Milk Definition: A nutrient-rich liquid produced by the mammary glands of mammals. Milk contains a balanced composition of essential nutrients, such as proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins (especially vitamin D and B-complex vitamins), and minerals (like calcium and potassium). Cow's milk, the most commonly consumed variety globally, is often processed into various dairy products, including cheese, yogurt, and butter. Why have so many chosen not to embrace dairy products? Primarily because of reasons most people don't even understand but have been frightened by social media, marketing, and just lack of education. Our mission is to share knowledge to help individuals make informed decisions regarding milk and other dairy products.

A common practice to enrich milk with Vitamin D to increase the body's ability to absorb and utilize the naturally high Calcium content in milk. Enriching milk with Vitamin A is done commercially to replace the loss of Vitamin A that occurs when creating lower fat milk. Beyond that, the vitamins and minerals found in milk are naturally occurring.
